My buddy Christian and I went on a spontaneous camping trip up on Lake Lanier the weekend of the Autumnal Equinox to catch a view of the Supermoon, the largest moon since 1948. If mine don't quite peak your interest, go check out all the rad sci-fi shots he took.
Back in October I went to Europe and challenged myself to meet, befriend and shoot with at least one stranger in every city I went to. Whats crazy is that Christian, the guy I met in Germany, ended up joining me and Sean and going to Prague with us where we met Sim and took these rad photos.
Literally made my day shooting and exploring with these new friends in that city and it kind of blows my mind how quickly and strongly you can connect with someone even a stranger strictly through the simple acts of discovery and creation.
This is my Good pal
Sean Michael Davis
Sean is a Graphic Designer working in Atlanta at AKQA. He has a killer eye for design, a super rad dog named Charlie, and a beautiful apartment that quite probably is the most aesthetically pleasing (and internet famous) studio loft in all of Atlanta.
Someone once asked me about my friends if I'd rather have 100 pennies or 4 quarters and I'm not sure I want to decide between the two but if I had to, Sean would definitely be a quarter. He's a genuine, rad guy that is always down for an adventure or a thought-provoking conversation and I was so proud to get to shoot these little snapshots into his life for UO.
Cheers to friendship!
If this is boring you,
Then go check out Sean's Interview with UO on
